What we collect

• An anonymous identifier. We set a first-party cookie (juice_uid) containing a random ID so your pending checkout can be matched to its payment. It holds no personal data and expires after one year.
• Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe under Stripe’s privacy policy. We receive a payment confirmation, the amount, and Stripe identifiers. We never receive your card number.
• App Store links you submit and the public catalog data Apple returns for them (name, icon, description, rating).
• Aggregate click counts on App Store links, per app and per day, with the referring site’s hostname where available. We do not store IP addresses for analytics.
• Abuse prevention. To rate-limit lookups and checkouts we keep a salted hash of your IP address for a short window. The raw address is not stored.
• Server logs for reliability and security, retained briefly.
• Page analytics via a self-hosted Umami instance: page views and referrers, aggregated, without cookies or cross-site tracking.

What we don’t do

• No accounts, no email list, no advertising trackers, no third-party ad or analytics networks.
• We never sell or share personal data with third parties, except Stripe for payment processing.
• Sharing on X happens only when you click “Share on X”; it opens X’s composer and nothing is posted automatically.

Cookies

Only the anonymous identifier above. It is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and Secure.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete the data associated with your anonymous identifier or a payment. Financial records may be retained as required by law. Contact @fberrez on X.

Apple

Juice is not affiliated with Apple Inc. App metadata is retrieved from Apple’s public lookup service and cached for about 12 hours.
